The 1st Nonprofit we "Adopted" Restores Hearing to Kids Born Deaf!

Our Story

Begins over 5 years ago creating and launching a business podcast network to fill a void in the marketplace to tell the untold stories of business, letting them share their challenges and the impact they make within the community without agendas or bias.

Community

Right away we struck a chord with our guests and listeners and we sensed we were onto something. It was in those early days when co-founder, Rich Casanova saw the impact made in the community but thought how could we make a greater impact in the world?

Non Profits

Non Profits Radio launches, over the course of two years sharing the stories of local non profits. Which led to Super Bowl events in Atlanta & Miami podcasting for the Taste of the NFL and more...

First Nonprofit 

Many conversations later and following an extensive search, Rich finally found the perfect fit, a nonprofit that restores hearing in kids born completely deaf, it was that quintessential light bulb moment! The legacy mission became crystal clear and the light has not dimmed despite challenges, disappointments and even doubt among some who he thought would surely rally behind the cause.

On the Road

Having discovered the Auditory Verbal Center and the amazing work they do, we 'adopted' them as our first and signature nonprofit to support and help tell their story. With that in place we created and launched the first ever Podcast World Tour traveling throughout the U.S. and to Bangkok, Paris and London on an awareness campaign and recording a podcast along the way.

Last Tour Stop

We started to get the attention of corporate sponsors and the podcasting community but little did we know following the Florida leg of the tour in March 2020 returning to Atlanta to prepare for New York it would all come to an abrupt halt and the tour would immediately be on hiatus without any reschedule dates in site. We waited for weeks for some good news, which turned into months and realizing we were not getting the green light to go back on the road... so we had to reinvent ourselves to keep the mission alive.

What's Next?

We immediately got to work to imagine how we could serve podcasters whom we received so much support along the tour and whom we asked to rally behind the cause and mission of the tour.

We went back to the drawing board and lots of coffee and many meetings later we revisited an idea Rich had years prior of building a community around the thousands of guests on the business podcast network. However, we failed to provide enough value and never clearly identified why people would join the community.

Ah Ha Moment

This time would be different, we would start by solving a problem we knew fellow podcasters shared, finding podcast guests and in turn guests finding podcasters the light bulb was lit!

Created a "matchmaking" service for podcasters!
Working non-stop during the pandemic we built from scratch PodcastersDirectory.com which experienced rapid growth from podcasters and guests joining from around the world.

Around the World

Currently members in 38 states and 17 countries! We had the cloud of uncertainty hanging over the Podcast World Tour lifted by the silver lining response to PodcastersDirectory.com

We witnessed the power of the podcasting community rallying behind a single cause while at the same time we recognize podcasters may have a cause of their own so we wanted to include a variety of media...

Hearing Restored

The inaugural nonprofit to be on Podcasting4Good will pay tribute to the work of everyone at the Auditory Verbal Center and the impact for Good they are for the kids and families they serve by restoring Hearing and the ability to Talk to kids born deaf!

Hear & Talk!

These kids will otherwise would live in a silent world the rest of their lives! Relegated to only communicating with those few who can lip read or know sign language.

On Location

We spent 3 days in Atlanta, at the Auditory Verbal Center, to create a two minute video to share with you and we think you'll agree the work they're doing is nothing short of a miracle.
